Clinical Director - (Part-time initially, scaling to full-time)
About the Role
The teen mental health crisis demands real solutions for real humans in today’s ever‑shifting landscape. Kin Therapy is building exactly that.
Teens today face unprecedented mental health challenges, yet many existing Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) are outdated, inaccessible, and disconnected from the realities of their lives. Long waitlists, prohibitive costs, and a lack of sleek tech push teens and families away from care just when they need it most.
Kin Therapy is leading the way in IOP development. We’ve created a virtual IOP that integrates live therapy, peer connections, and AI‑enhanced support. Our model fits seamlessly into teens’ schedules, reaches them wherever they are, and utilizes tech to enhance connection instead of replacing it. Most importantly, teens stay engaged because we actually encourage their love of tech (thoughtfully and intentionally, of course)
We’re seeking a clinical leader committed to excellence, innovation, relationships, and meaningful outcomes.
What You’ll Actually Do
Clinical Excellence
- Develop cutting-edge treatment protocols blending evidence-based practices with real-world insights.
- Establish rigorous quality standards that foster clinician growth rather than stifle it.
- Own and implement documentation workflows that support access to care while not bogging clinicians down.
- Implement outcome measurement frameworks that excite instead of bore.
- Optimize our hybrid model, letting AI manage logistics so therapists can focus on care.
- Facilitate group therapy and carry a small caseload as we pilot our first cohorts.
Humanizing Leadership
- Guide therapists as they pioneer fresh approaches to adolescent care.
- Lead thoughtful, impactful case consultations that deepen clinical practice.
- Navigate complex cases creatively, thoughtfully, and confidently.
- Foster a clinical culture of self-awareness, curiosity, and resilience.
Fearless Innovation
- Collaborate closely with our tech team and VP of Clinical to ensure our AI tools enhance rather than disrupt care.
- Work closely with the VP of Clinical to expand our proven model into new states, while maintaining exceptional quality at scale.
- Design and innovate frameworks adaptable for 50 patients or 5,000.
- Keep us at the forefront of innovation while upholding clinical rigor and integrity.
