About the Role
Are you exceptional at what you do? Do you see a way you could help us transform teen mental health care?
At Kin Therapy, we know that building something revolutionary requires people who think differently. That’s why we’re not just looking to fill predefined roles β we’re looking for talented individuals who can identify opportunities we haven’t even considered yet.
Whether you’re a revenue cycle wizard who can optimize our billing operations, a business development strategist who can forge meaningful partnerships, a care coordinator who ensures no family falls through the cracks, or something else entirely β if you have a vision for how your skills could advance our mission, we want to hear from you.
About Kin Therapy
We’re reimagining teen mental health care through our virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP). In a world where traditional therapy isn’t enough and residential treatment is too much, we provide the “just right” level of care that helps teens heal while staying connected to their lives.
Our team is distributed, mission-driven, and committed to making quality mental health care accessible to every teen who needs it. We move fast, think creatively, and measure our success by the families we help.
Who You Might Be
We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with expertise in:
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) - Help us navigate the complex world of insurance billing and maximize access to care
- Business Development & Partnerships - Build relationships with schools, pediatricians, and community organizations
- Care Coordination - Ensure seamless experiences for families from first contact through graduation
- Operations & Systems - Design processes that scale our impact without sacrificing quality
- Data & Analytics - Help us measure what matters and make informed decisions
- Marketing & Outreach - Connect with families who need us but don’t know we exist
- Clinical Innovation - Bring new evidence-based approaches to our treatment model
But don’t let this list limit you. If you have a different superpower that could help us serve more teens and families, we want to know about it.
What We’re Looking For
Regardless of your specific expertise, successful candidates will:
- See the opportunity: You can articulate how your skills would create value for Kin and the families we serve
- Take ownership: You don’t wait for permission to solve problems or improve things
- Think systematically: You understand how your work connects to our larger mission
- Communicate effectively: You can work seamlessly with clinical and non-clinical team members
- Move with urgency: Teen mental health is in crisis, and we work like it matters (because it does)
- Learn continuously: You’re excited to grow with a rapidly evolving organization
How to Apply
Don’t send a generic resume. Instead, help us understand:
- Your story: What’s your background and what draws you to our mission?
- Your vision: What role would you create for yourself at Kin? What would you accomplish in your first 90 days? First year?
- Your evidence: Share examples of times you’ve identified opportunities others missed or created value in unexpected ways
- Your questions: What do you need to know about us to determine if this is the right fit?
Our Commitment to Diversity
We believe diverse teams build better products and serve families more effectively. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, particularly those from communities underrepresented in healthcare and technology.
