What is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?

An IOP is a structured mental health treatment program that provides more support than weekly therapy but allows teens to live at home and attend school.

Perfect for teens who:

  • βœ“ Are struggling despite current treatment
  • βœ“ Recently left a hospital or residential program
  • βœ“ Want intensive help while staying in school

How Our IOP Compares:

Questions? We've got answers.

How long is the program?

Most teens participate for 6-8 weeks, but we customize based on individual needs and progress.

What about school?

The major benefit of our program is that teens stay in school. Sessions take place after school, and our curriculum is designed to balance homework and therapy.

Is virtual as effective as in-person?

Research shows virtual therapy is just as effective, plus teens often feel more comfortable opening up from home. They're hand-matched with other teens based on preference and rapport.

Are parents/caregivers involved?

Yes! You'll receive weekly progress updates, talking points and (optional) coaching and peer groups. We know it's tough raising teens, and we're here to support you too.
