Questions? We've got answers.

How do you help teens with low motivation for therapy?

We use an engaging, activity-based approach that doesn't feel like traditional therapy. Small groups and relatable therapists help teens feel comfortable and motivated to participate.

How long is the program?

Most teens participate for 6-8 weeks, but we customize based on individual needs and progress.

What about school?

The major benefit of Kin is that teens will stay in school. Sessions take place after school, and our curriculum is designed to balance homework and sessions.

Is virtual as effective as in-person?

Research shows virtual IOP is just as effective, plus teens often feel more comfortable opening up from home. They will be hand-matched with other teens based on preference, condition and rapport.

Are parents/caregivers involved?

Yes! You will receive weekly progress updates, talking points and (optional) coaching and peer groups as well. We know it's tough raising teens, and believe it's important to offer you any support you need as well.
